WAREMA Wisotronic blind control automation
Overview
The Wisotronic Dialog 3 channel is a multifunctional sun-shading control system that intelligently controls your sun-shades depending on weather conditions, offering new levels of comfort and protection. One system independently manages three different sun-shade products or compass directions.Wisotronic gives you the freedom to operate your sun-shading products by hand or leave the operation entirely to the automatic control. The Wisotronic dialog guards your sun shading/visual privacy product against harmful weather influences and offers comprehensive comfort functions for you. The system gathers and evaluates data on wind, rain, brightness, inside and outside temperature, relative humidity and time and then uses programmed criteria to control the connected sun shading products accordingly. The Wisotronic dialog is an ideal central control unit for medium building projects such as houses and conservatories.

System Details
General System Properties
| Property | Description | Standard |
|---|---|---|
| Channel Quantity | A channel is a group of products that operate according to the same automatic function(s). Example roller blinds north façade all drop at the same sun level. It is a separate concept to wall switches and not to be confused with the number of wall switched groups that are possible. In the example used all roller blinds on the north facade could have individual wall switches and be separately operable, but a sun command will operate them as a group. | 3 |
| Max number of motors (1200 motors) |
The number of motors or appliances that can be connected to the system. If number is exceeded use more than one system. | 1200 |
| Low level interface to home automation or building management system | The ability to transmit, receive or exchange simple analog commands with the principle building management system via voltage free contacts. | |
| Fault code export | The ability to export a fault code to an external BMS system | |
| Freely assemblable local wall switching groups | Any arrangement of groups of blinds or individual blinds can be operated by local wall switch independently of channels. | |
| Remote Control receiver in the central unit. | The channels (see above) can be operated from a wall mounted or handheld Warema transmitter. | |
| Remote control receiver in the field | In the field handheld or wall mounted radio transmitting (non wired) switches, operating freely assemblable groups of products. | |
Automatic Functions
Note that list is not exhaustive. Many other functions may be possible. Contact us for advice.
Feature may be possible with additional components or programming.
| Type | Description | Standard | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sun Sensoring | ![]() |
Directional measurement of outside lux levels. 3 sensors can be connected. |
|
| Slat Turning | ![]() |
After descending slatted products such as external venetian blinds can be programmed to tilt to a specified angle. | |
| Sun Tracking | ![]() |
Mathematical calculation of the position of the sun at any moment relative to the orientation (compass direction) of the product. Used in general to provide consistent shading levels with slatted products. | |
| Dawn & Dusk Control | ![]() |
Drives the products to a programmed position at dawn and dusk. For example a school may prefer blinds retracted at dusk and a homeowner may prefer blinds dropped. | |
| Timer Direct Drive | ![]() |
Drives a channel to a position at a programmed time | |
| Timer Auto Functions | ![]() |
Sets an another automatic function to commence at a particular time i.e. begin sun sensoring at 8am | |
| Temperature Direct Drive | ![]() |
Drives a channel to a particular position based on internal or external temperature | |
| Temperature Enable Auto Functions | ![]() |
Sets an another automatic function to commence at a particular temperature i.e. begin sun sensoring at 18 degrees internal temperature. | |
| Temperature Difference Functions | ![]() |
Measurement of internal and external temperatures and movement of a product based on temperature difference within a temperature range. | |
| Cold Protection | ![]() |
Overiding command to move a product to a position based on a low temperature threshold | |
| Night Purge | ![]() |
Separate temperature difference settings that operate at night to open windows during summer in order to release heat build up from the day. For this special function a separate channel is required for a night purge function in addition to the daytime channel. | |
| Ice Alarm | ![]() |
Uses rain and temperature data to establish if ice is present and retracts external products accordingly. | |
| Rain Monitor I/O | ![]() |
Detects rain and accoringly can retract external fabric products or close windows. | |
| Wind Sensoring | ![]() |
Measurement of wind speed. 1 sensor can be connected. |
|
| Wind Direction Sensor | ![]() |
Measurement of wind direction | |
| Intermittent Ventilation | ![]() |
Period (programmable) operation of a product (normally windows) based on a temperature threshold. | |
| Humidity Control | ![]() |
Drives a channel to a particular position based on inside or outside humidity. | |
