Concept Space: A better way to live

HouseLab is an online content management system that's set to revolutionise handovers and home management for builders, architects and homeowners. They provide a secure digital hub for everyoone involved in the build to upload and store all relevant information including plans, permits and warranties.

Shade Factor was approached by HouseLab to become a content partner, providing expert advice on sun shading solutions. We collaborated with Fremantle based Philip Stekskal Architecture in their concept space design focusing on the 'Missing Middle' in building planning, referring to low-rise medium density developments in walkable neighbourhoods. The brief is to design a micro-community on a 750m² block arranged around a centralised communal space that allows individuals to engage and interact with one another.
