Warema WMS is designed to be part of the Smart Home platform of media, which links more than 3,000 devices from over 128 different manufacturers. Our iOS or Android App, WMS WebControl, allows you to control your blinds along with any other compatible devices you want to include on your network. Imagine being able to control lighting, heating, cooling and more all through your own personal device.
Warema WMS is also an ecosystem of compatible devices that become part of a robust, WiFi-enabled blind control network. Devices include the required wireless hub, wireless weather sensors, motor control units, receivers, central control panels and hand-held wireless controllers.
WMS Wireless Hub
At the heart of the Warema WMS network is the WMS Wireless Hub. The Hub plugs in to your WLAN (usually a wireless router) and establishes the wireless network used to "attach" the components. Configuration is then used to make components behave in the desired way. For example, you may wish to control blinds along one set of windows independently from another. Input from weather sensors allows for a variety of other possibilities including a high wind safety setting to retract the blinds, preventing damage.
WMS Wireless Receivers
Warema WMS Receivers act as the conduit between the hub and the device being controlled. They are programmed according to the device they will be connected to e.g. an external venetian blind has slats that tilt in small increments and the blinds raise and lower, whereas a light has an "on" and "off" state and brightness.
WMS Receivers also act as transmitters ("transceivers") that broadcast data back to the hub. As a result, one of the things that makes Warema WMS unique is that controls are bi-directional; the device will "confirm" it has done the action the user requested or report a fault.

Wall-mounted Transmitter
- One or six channel wall-mounted transmitter for wireless operation of WMS receivers (two models available)
- Control of up to 10 WMS receivers of the same product type per channel
- Retrieval and storage of individual comfort positions at the press of a button
- Possible to switch the comfort functions (sun control, dawn/dusk control, temperature control) on and off channel-by-channel
- Suitable in each standard switch program with the aid of a corresponding central frame
- A WMS Hand-held transmitter, a WMS Central transmitter or the WMS studio software is needed for commissioning a weather station

Hand-Held Wireless Transmitter
Warema's WMS Wireless Transmitter offers a stylish and convenient way to control your spaces. There are three models available, with the top-of-the-line transmitter shown here:
- 50-channel EWFS Hand-held transmitter for wireless operation of WMS receivers
- Control of up to 5 product types with 10 channels each
- Control of up to 10 WMS receivers of the same product type possible per channel
- Retrieval and storage of individual comfort positions at the press of a button
- Up to 10 individual scene states can be programmed and called up at the press of a button
- Possible to switch the comfort functions (sun, dawn/dusk and temperature control) on and off
- Limit values and control modes (sun and dawn/dusk control, wind and precipitation monitoring) can be set directly on the hand-held transmitter
